Data protection:

Data protection declaration
We are particularly concerned about protecting your personal data. Therefore, we process your data exclusively according to the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). This data protection information informs you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website. We have clearly summarized the current status of using cookies and Google Analytics for you here. You can find further information and details on these topics in the content below on this page.

Cookie status

Cookies are activated by default on this website because we do not store any personal data in them. In cases where this is necessary later, we will obtain your separate consent in advance. The cookie notice banner is still active and can be hidden by clicking on the ‘Got it’ link.

Contact

If you contact us via an email address listed on our website, we will use the data you send us exclusively for the purpose of processing your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. In some cases, however, it is necessary for us to further process your data and record it separately.

Data retention

We do not retain personal data that we collect and process in the course of our normal business activities for longer than is necessary for our business purposes or due to legal requirements. However, in certain cases, for example for tax and accounting purposes, we are legally obliged to store personal data even after an active business relationship has ended.

Protocol data/server logs

Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by the Internet browser you use and saved in protocol files (server log files) on the web server we use. These files contain the following information, among others: name/URL of the website accessed, host name of the requesting provider, date and time of the server request, browser type and version, operating system and the URL of the previously visited page (referrer URL). IP addresses are only recorded anonymously as part of this logging. The protocol data is only used for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimizing our website. This protocol data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if there is reasonable suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.
Our hosting provider is: WP Engine.

Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files that are transferred to your browser via a web server. The information stored in cookies helps us to tailor the use of our website to individual needs and to continually improve our offering. We never store personal data without your consent. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. A notice banner at the bottom of our website indicates the use of cookies. By clicking on the “I understand” link you confirm that you have read the use of cookies on our website. This cookie confirmation is valid for 365 days and will no longer be displayed when you visit our website again within this time (unless you have deleted the cookie by then or the page is accessed using a different browser).

Functional limitations without cookies
If you generally restrict or prevent the use of cookies, certain areas and services on our website may not work as expected. Cookies that are already on your computer can be deleted at any time using the settings in your browser. The procedure for doing this varies depending on the browser. Information about this and other options regarding cookies can be found on the pages of the respective browser providers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Opera.

IP anonymization / pseudonymization
Because your privacy is important to us, your user data is pseudonymized. We use the “Activate IP anonymization” or “anonymizeIp” function to ensure anonymous recording of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Your IP address is recorded by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, but is immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible. In exceptional cases, IP addresses may be transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google will process this information on our behalf in order to analyze the use of our website, compile reports on website activity, and provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google will not be merged with other Google data.

We have concluded a contract for order data processing
(Data Processing Agreement) with Google.
The relationship with Google is based on the “EU-US Privacy Shield”, an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA. It can therefore be assumed that an “adequate level of data protection” exists when processing personal data by Google and that the data is handled in compliance with data protection regulations. Google’s certification under the Privacy Shield can be viewed at privacyshield.gov.
For more information, see Google’s general data protection provisions .

Social Media
Some content on our website can be shared in compliance with data protection regulations via social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, XING, LinkedIn or Google+. We use specially generated links for this purpose, which contain all the information necessary for sharing.

The usual plugins and scripts provided by social media services lead to the immediate recording and logging of your IP address and activities on the Internet as soon as a website is loaded – even if none of the buttons or links have been clicked yet. With the method we use, however, a connection to the respective social network is only established when you actively click on a social media button. Depending on whether you are already logged in there in your browser, the content can then be shared in a separate window in the next step and, if necessary, commented on.

We therefore take your data protection interests in the area of social media sharing into account as far as is possible given the current state of technology.

Your rights
You generally have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

Contact
If you have any questions regarding data protection, please do not hesitate to contact us by email at office@drsabanas.com .
